V45 FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION BEARING Check the steering stem bearings for damage or wear. BEARING REPLACEMENT NOTE: Replace the bearing and bearing race as a set. Rernove the bearing from the steering stem. BEARING RACE REMOVER 07953-4250002 Remove the upper bearing race with the special tool. BEARING RACE REMOVER 07953-4260002 Remove the lower bearing race with the special tool. NOTE: If the motorcycle has been involved in an accident, examine the area around the steering head for cracks.
